Exhibiting an Optimistic Outlook

The recent Open Days, featuring a mini exhibition, held at our Mansfield headquarters featured the best of new developments in the protection and communication sectors, and were declared an outstanding success. We welcomed more than 20 exhibiting companies, and an endless stream of visitors over two action-packed days.

Partners, clients and suppliers, from the private and public sectors, including the MOD, joined the TIS team for the event which showcased latest industry advances, expert speakers on key topics and featured a wide ranging exhibition of products and services.

Products on show ranged from intercom and access control to Internet Protocol TV, and covered a massive cross-section of services including CCTV, fire and intruder security, workplace safety and many others. Visitors even had the opportunity to sample cutting edge 3D TV!

Another popular feature for visitors was a series of seminars by industry experts staged throughout the two days, focusing on access control, fire alarms, energy monitoring and CCTV.

Commenting on the event, TIS Technical Director, Chris Lewis said: “We have had some fantastic feedback from both exhibitors and visitors. We even had one visitor who came on both days because there was so much to see, and many told us they felt it rivaled the leading industry exhibitions, but felt much more intimate.”

“It was also very rewarding, in this uncertain financial climate, to be able to create such a vibrant commercial event that we hope will have very positive outcomes for everyone involved.”

Following the recent award of the City Wide CCTV and Door Entry Contract to TIS Ltd, the important role played by the G4S Team at the Woodlands Control Room has already been fully demonstrated.

TIS Contracts Manager’s Mark Wilson and Nick Hollins have been quick to acknowledge the immediate support from G4S, safe in the knowledge that the Control Room Operators are able to provide a valuable ‘watching eye’ over the field based response engineers who attend calls throughout the City 24 hours a day.

TIS are now responsible for the reactive service and pre-planned maintenance of the equipment installed within the high rise, low rise and public space CCTV across the City Centre and Outer Estates of Nottingham.

TIS are pleased to have been successful in securing this prestigious Contract and look forward to developing the service partnership with the City of Nottingham and the G4S Team.

TIS have already invested more than £50,000 since the Contract award in April, through providing a dedicated management team including full on site engineering service response and fully equipped service fleet to meet the exact standards demanded by Nottingham City Homes and Nottingham City Council.

After months of hard work by ourselves and the team at xposure, our new site is complete!
