Controlled Access

When it is important to restrict access to private or vulnerable areas the most effective control must be tailored to each situation.  TIS install access control systems in a wide variety of buildings – from high-rise tower blocks and offices to single occupancy dwellings.

TIS install systems to secure buildings electronically.  Entrants will need either an object or intelligence such as electronic cards and fobs or codes and passwords.  Video door entry is also becoming more widely used in door access throughout the UK and TIS are experienced in advising and fitting these systems.  TIS also cater for high security door access requirements using anti-passback intelligence to ensure you have no unwanted visitors.

TIS Access Control Systems can also work in conjunction with Fire Detection Systems using roll call technology to create a register of occupants within a building in the event of a fire, ensuring that you know exactly who is in the building in order to evacuate the premises efficiently.

We also use fingerprint or handprint biometric technology to create restricted access to the most high security areas, depending on the clients requirements.

They vary in complexity from simple voice links on intercom to highly secure units with CCTV support, linked to monitors in remote manned monitoring centres.  Lifts, barrier gates and swipe cards being the most common types.
